Jordan Wanders is built to help readers plan better trips around Jordan. This page explains, in plain English, what information the site may collect and how it is used.
Information you choose to send
If you use the contact form, we ask for your name, email address, subject and message so we can read and reply to your note. If you use the itinerary email feature, we use your email address and selected itinerary details to send the requested trip summary.
These messages are delivered through our email provider, Resend. That means the information needed to send the email is processed by Resend as part of delivering the message.
Newsletter form
The current newsletter form on Jordan Wanders is a client-side demo. When you type an email address there, the page shows a thank-you message, but the current form does not send that address to a backend newsletter list.
Analytics
Jordan Wanders loads Google Tag Manager to understand site traffic and improve the pages readers use most. Analytics tools may collect information such as page views, approximate location, browser, device type and referring pages.
How we use information
We use information to:
- respond to messages sent through the contact form;
- send itinerary emails requested by readers;
- understand site performance and improve travel guides;
- protect the site from abuse or technical problems.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help operate the site, such as analytics and email delivery providers, or when required to comply with law or protect the site.
Retention
Contact messages and email delivery records may be kept for as long as needed to respond, maintain records and operate the site. Analytics records are retained according to the settings of the analytics services used.
Your choices
You can choose not to use the contact or itinerary email forms. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some analytics or site features may work differently when cookies are blocked.
